- Derek and I have been married for over three years. We met and the gym while I was teaching an aerobics class and he saw me, so he started coming to my classes. After three classes including a yoga class (he said then that his cover was blown), he asked me on a date. Our first date was on October 1, 2005. We were engaged on January 16, 2006, and we were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 30, 2006. Derek is attending medical school while I am a stay at home mom to our sweet baby boy Lucas! I also am still teaching aerobics on the side. Life doesn't get any better than this.
